MotoGP 2008
Patrons at this year's MotoGP at Phillip Island were once again treated to free dyno testing for their bikes.
Along with the crew from Dyno Dynamics, the Service team from New World Honda were there to help run the dyno and offer technical advice to participants wanting to squeeze more performance from their pride and joy.
A recurring theme throughout the weekend was owners disappointed with the results of performance modifications. In many cases the addition of an aftermarket exhaust and/or piggyback engine management system had a negative effect on power. A demonstration of New World Honda's 2008 model CBR1000RR, fitted with an exhaust and Power Commander, and tuned on their Dyno Dynamics 450DS motorcycle dyno - clearly showed the benefits of dyno tuning
Approximately 100 bikes were tested over the weekend and many have already booked in for a dyno tune to address fuel delivery problems. To celebrate the success of the event, New World Honda is offering a free dyno power graph with every service - or a power graph only for just $44.
